Three different accused arrested with sharp edged weapons by Jammu Police

Three different accused booked under Arms Act and sharp edged weapons were recovered from them in the area under the jurisdictions of PS RS Pura and PS Miran Sahib.

Agile police team of PS RS Pura led by SHO PS RS Pura Inspr Pawan Kumar while on patrolling duty near Puro Bhana Puli rounded up a suspect later identified as Dev Raj Alias Kalu S/o Amar Nath R/o W No 8 RS Pura who was on his way from Chak Agra towards RS Pura. During search, one sharp edged weapon I.e toka was recovered from his possession. On further questioning, two more sharp edged weapons were recovered from his possession.

In this regard, case FIR No 177/22 U/S 4/25 A Act got registered at PS RS Pura and accused got arrested. The overall arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh.

Similarly, a police team of PS Miran Sahib led by SHO PS Miran Sahib Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq while on naka duty at Kalli Pulli Kullian rounded up two suspects who were coming from Kullian towards phinder. During search two sharp edged weapons were recovered from their possession.

In this regard, case FIR No. 111/2022 U/S 4/25 Arms Act got registered at PS Miran Sahib and accused got arrested. Accused arrested were identified as:

 1.) Ashok Kumar S/o Rattan Lal R/o Khepar Miran Sahib Tehsil R۔S۔Pura District Jammu 

2.) Ravi Kumar S/o Garu Ram R/o Prema Chak Dabler   Tehsil R۔S۔Pura District Jammu

The overall arrests and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
