 Rinku Singh of Aligarh became the biggest superstar of IPL after hitting five consecutive sixes in last over to to give Kolkata Knight Riders a three-wicket win over Gujarat Titans  On the last five balls, KKR needed 28 runs to win, but Rinku hit such a punch of sixes that the Gujarat team kept watching.  Born in Aligarh, Rinku's cricketing journey has not been easy.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) match on April 9 (Sunday) was played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, to which the fans will not forget for many years.  Rinku Singh was the main character of this match played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans.  Left-handed batsman Rinku Singh showed such a wonderful game in the last over of the match that words fell short to praise him.

 Kolkata had to score 29 runs in the last over to win and its defeat looked almost certain.  Rashid Khan, the acting captain of Gujarat Titans, entrusted the responsibility of bowling the last over to left-arm pace bowler Yash Dayal.  On the first ball of Yash Dayal, Umesh Yadav took a single and gave strike to Rinku Singh.  After this, Rinku gave the team victory by hitting five consecutive sixes.

Samba, March 28: Police held impressive closing ceremony of Football Tournament organized under Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Kheli Mandi Ground Samba today where SSP Samba Benam Tosh presented cash rewards amounting to rupees forty two thousand along with trophies and certificates to the players in the presence of Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, DySP DAR Ajay Anand, DySP Hqrs. Samba Mohd. Usman and SHO Samba Rajeshwar Singh 

The final match of football  tournament organized by Samba Police was played between Kotli Mandi Football Club and Kheri Mandi Football Club in which team Kotli Mandi Football Club under the caption ship of Sahil Sambyal emerged as overall winner whereas team Kheri Mandi Football Club under the caption ship Vishawajeet Singh of clinched runner up trophy.

In the tournament, total 08 football teams : Kotli Football Club, Nud Football Club, Sangwali Mandi Football Club, Kheri Mandi Football Club, Kehli Mandi-B Football Club, Katli Football Club, Kehli Mandi-A Football Club and Thalora Mandi Football Club from different areas of district Samba participated and tournament was played for three consecutive days.The players appreciated the role of police in organizing football tournament at Samba in the interest of youth. 

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Samba Benam Tosh congratulated all the football players of all the participating teams and their friends and families for exhibiting high degree of team spirit and keen interest while playing in the ground. SSP Samba further said that Samba police is simultaneously organizing several tournaments of different games at different places in the district to involve and mobilize more and more youth with a view to motivate them to shun bad company, drug abuse and indulging in crimes.
