Fugitive Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh has been arrested in Punjab's Moga, Punjab Police said on Sunday. "Further details will be shared by Punjab Police. Urge citizens to maintain peace and harmony. Don't share any fake news, always verify and share," the police added. Singh had been on the run since March 18.

During intervening night of 9/10 Feb 2023, BSF Punjab troops deployed along IB in Ferozepur detected a drone intrusion. Counter-drone measures initiated & drone was fired upon. On search approx 3 kg heroin, 1 China-made pistol, cartridges & magazine dropped by drone recovered.
