Today is the 'Shaheedi Diwas' of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. Guru Teg Bahadur Ji is the ninth of Ten Sikh Gurus who was martyred on the orders of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Gurudwara Sis Ganj and Gurudwara Rakab Ganj are places of execution and cremation of Guru Teg Bahadur ji. Guru ji made this supreme sacrifice for abolishing of Jizya imposed by Aurangzeb.
