पंजाबः 2 पाकिस्तानी कैदियों को शनिवार को अटारी बॉर्डर से घर वापस भेजा गया। पाकिस्तानी कैदी, एक बाड़मेर में एक किशोर केंद्र में और दूसरा ग्वालियर की केंद्रीय जेल में बंद था, उन्हें उनके देश वापस भेज (जेल की अवधि पूरी होने पर) दिया गया था।

US warns of 'specific, credible threat' near Kabul Airport, asks its citizens to leave the airport area immediately. "Due to a specific, credible threat, all US citizens in the vicinity of Kabul airport, including South (Airport Circle), new Ministry of the Interior & gate near Panjshir Petrol station should leave the airport area immediately" the US Embassy in Kabul says in a security alert.

Surprise checking of mineral block at Nud district Samba: Tippers seized, challan issued

28August, Samba: District administration Samba today conducteda surprise checking at mineral block nud of district samba for violating government directions and overcharging. 

Under supervision of Deputy Commissioner Samba Ms Anuradha Gupta, a Joint checking team led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Samba Rajeev Magotra laid checking at mineral block following the reports of overcharging and non adherence to government directions. 

The Joint inspection team seized 02 tippers for illegal extraction, overcharging and dumping are booked under relevant laws. 

ACR samba while speaking on the inspection said that following the complaints received regarding illegal mining, Deputy Commissioner Samba today directed for checking and on spot verification of mining activities. "Persons involved in illegal mining and dumping were today booked besides the directions issued including displaying of notified rates, e-ticketing and brining transparency were not adhered to, therefore all violators have been booked" added ACR samba.

During the Joint checking District Mineral Officer, SHO Samba, Naib Tehsildar and other field staff were also present.
