BSF conducted written examination for recruitment to the post of constable (GD) in BSF & CISF

In an endeavor to recruit local youth in the BSF, written examination for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) (Male & Female) in Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) through Special Recruitment Rally in the UTs Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has been conducted on 18th Oct 2020 by Border Security Force at Paloura Camp, BSF Jammu, Painthee, Samba, STC BSF Udhampur & SHQ BSF Rajouri under responsibility of Frontier Headquarter BSF Jammu and STC BSF Srinagar, Sub division Nubra Valley, BSF Campus Singhpura, Baramulla, ITBP Camp Leh, BSF Campus Bandipur, BSF Campus Neeru, BSF Campus Kupwara, BSF Campus Tangdhar & Police line Kargil under overall responsibility of Frontier Headquarter BSF Kashmir.

A total of about 34,000 candidates, who have been declared qualified in PST/PET and documentation were called for the written examination of said recruitment. Approx 30,000 candidate participated in written exam hailing  from 22 districts of UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Border Security Force (BSF) smoothly conducted the examination abiding by all COVID- 19 protocols issued by the Govt of India and UTs Govt of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. There was huge enthusiasm among the candidates in not only Jammu but also in Kashmir and Ladakh region. The  percentage  of absentees was very low.
