Today SSP Samba Benam Tosh has acknowledged work of KOTLI COLONY WELFARE TRUST which is working out in entire Jammu and Kashmir for the upliftment of down trodden people and working at large to contribute for the welfare of society . Datta has praised the ethical policing under able supervision of very upright and honest officer Sh Benam Tosh. Datta vividly said Samba has witnessed change in policing in just few days after he joined as SSP Samba . Our society is in dire need of an efficient police officer like him to serve mankind in real sense and work at ground level. Since he joined Dist Samba police, he is in lime light to recover and resolve many theft cases, reduced drug menace cases at a greater extent and tightened grip to control crime and other social evils in society. Today one may be upright to say that Dist Samba police is available 24X7 for the welfare of people . Datta praised and thanked whole distt Samba police team to acknowledge KCWT selfless work for the upliftment of society . In the function organised at SSP office ASP Samba Surinder choudhary were also present. The other prominents present were Sardar Kamal Deep Singh President 2X2 Bus association Jammu Province.

 जैसा कि हम बता दें की मीडिया वेबसाइट के अलावा हम समाज सेवा का काम भी करते हैं। इसमें हम जो लोग मुसीबत में होते हैं तकरीबन उनके बारे में, उनकी परेशानियों के बारे में लिखते  रहते हैं ताकि कोई दानी सज्जन, समाज सेवक उनकी मदद के लिए आगे आएं। इसी के चलते हमने पहले भी आपको बताया था कि जिला सांबा के ब्लॉक सुंब के गांव मड़कोली की रहने वाली सुरेखा देवी जी जिनके पति जी की की कोविड-19 के चलते राजस्थान में ट्रक हादसे में मौत हो गई थी। उस समय उनकी डेड बॉडी को लाने के लिए उस समय ₹ 60000 की जरूरत पड़ी थी जिस पर हमारे पोस्ट डालने पर लोगों ने गांव के लोगों ने और समाज सेवकों ने उनकी मदद की थी। जिससे डेड बॉडी को घर लाया जा सका और उसको मुखाग्नि दी गई। अब सुरेखा देवी जी के घर में कोई कमाने वाला नहीं है वह इस वक्त बड़ी ही मुश्किल जिंदगी जी रही है तो हमने फिर से उनकी मदद के लिए गुहार लगाई थी। जिस पर लोगों ने फिर से उनकी फिर से उनकी मदद की जिससे उनका जीवन यापन चल सके। अब सुरेखा देवी जी के घर में मकान की छत डालने वाली है तो हम एक बार फिर अपने चैनल के माध्यम से, अपनी वेबसाइट के माध्यम से लोगों को यह अपील करते हैं कि वे सुरेखा देवी की मदद के लिए आगे आए ताकि उस बेचारी को एक छत नसीब हो सके।

सरबजीत सिंह का सामाजिक कार्य जारी।

 डीडीसी सदस्य सरबजीत सिंह ने रिलीफ कैंप लगाकर गरीब और जरूरतमंद लोगों को राशन वितरित किया। रिलीफ कैंप गांव बदराल, सारवा, तरिंडिया के लिए लगाया गया था. जिसमे सरबजीत सिंह ने करीब 300 जरूरतमंद परिवारों को  आटा,चावल, शुगर, चने की दाल,मुगी की दाल,हल्दी, तेल,साबुन आदि घर में इस्तेमाल होने वाला समान दिया और सरबजीत सिंह जोहल ने कहा की में गरीब और जरूरतमंद लोगों की मदद के लिए हमेशा काम करता रहूंगा। उन्होंने बताया की आने वाले कुछ दिनो में अन्य पंचायतों के लिए भी रिलीफ कैंप लगाकर लोगो को राशन वितरण किया जाएगा। वही राशन वितरित के समय सामाजिक दूरी का पूरा ध्यान रखा गया और सभी को मास्क पहनाया गया। सरबजीत सिंह ने कहा की हमे सामाजिक कार्य के साथ साथ प्रशासन के आदेश का पालन भी करना है।  मौके पर ,वरिंदर शर्मा जी,उपाध्यक्ष कमलेश जी,महासचिव शिव चौधरी,मंडल अध्यक्ष युवा मोर्चा गुरमीत चौधरी, नायब सरपंच सुनील चौधरी,हाजरा सिंह, मेहता जी,मैडम बलजीत कौर जीआदि मौजूद रहे।

Youth for Society team celebrated Earth Day 2021 by planting saplings. Youth for Society team under the leadership of its chairman Rahul Sambyal celebrated "Earth Day 2021" by planting saplings near Budde da Bagh near the shore of River Basanter. YFS Chairman Mr Sambyal said saving our mother Earth for future generations should be the primary concern of every citizen. So saplings are planted by the team. He said all COVID related protocols are followed by the team. He stressed that while doing social work, everyone has to follow COVID SOPs, that's why he called only a few members. Those who present on the occasion were YFS senior member Retd Master Manohar Singh, Vishal Dev Singh, Ex Subedar Shailender Singh Sonu, Ranveer Singh, Kulbeer Singh and Sunny Kumar.

Team Jammu Chairman Zorawar Singh Jamwal was among the dignitaries present there. Today Kotli Colony Welfare Trust  greeted SSP SB CID Jammu Sh Rohit Baskotra for his people friendly initiative to start telephonic service to change narrative of policing ethics among people to update them with CID verification report . Earlier people has to knock doors of CID office for the speedy verification of their passport but now once you have applied for the new passport CID team approach you at your door step for the verification process and even after they will call you for your feedback and suggestion to improve their existing system and ask you for your suggestion and any difficulty they may go through during this process. This is brilliant service to strengthen police public relation and develop a huge respect of police in peoples heart . This will also bring a transparency in the system and reduce unnecessary delay in executing verification service report and process. Mr Datta vividly said such a brilliant initiative is much needed where there is gap of trust between people and public. Such progressive steps ensure faith in the system and hails the role of new SSP CID Jammu Sh Rohit Baskotra. He extend his support to such noble officers who think of people problems and try to take these steps for the convenience of people at large. Team Jammu, DLSA & Samba Police seek support of society to intensify war against drug menace

Samba, March 10: Reiterating their common resolve to take on-going war against drug addiction to its logical conclusion, Team Jammu, District Police Samba and District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Samba on Wednesday sought support of every section of the society to eradicate this menace.

While addressing a mega gathering comprising mostly youth including that of Higher Secondary and College Girls during a program on “Role of Society in Eradicating Drug Menace” organized at Shri Amar Khastriya Sabha, Samba, SSP, Samba, Rajesh Sharma, exhorted the gathering to jointly launch decisive war against drug menace. He said that this problem would not be solved by some individual and some particular communities because there is need of joint fight of the people all religions, castes, creeds and colours to single out those who have been involved in playing with the lives of younger generation.

SSP, Rajesh Sharma further presented detailed account of the working of Samba Police while dealing with drug mafia with iron hands and also guiding drug victims to rehabilitation center. He presented at length the number of cases registered under NDPS Act and also record number of seizure of drug contraband from district Samba. He asked the people to come forward and share any sort information pertaining to drug peddling also assured the identity of whistle blowers would be kept secret.

Sub-Judge, Secretary, DLSA, Samba, Swati Gupta, in her address, expressed her views on the glaring issue of Drug Abuse, which is affecting the youth, both boys and girls and underscored the duty of parents and teachers who have a very considerable role in shaping the future of younger generation. On the occasion, she also underlined the role of legal services institutions, NGOs and police department for creating awareness and rehabilitation of victims of Drug Abuse.

“Without support of each and every individual it is impossible to take fight against this deadly menace to the logical conclusion”, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman, Team Jammu, highlighted in his address and added, “Neither government agencies alone nor organizations like Team Jammu would be able to liberate our younger generation from the yoke of this deadly disease. Every right thinking person must have to come forward to join the war against drug abuse.”

Team Jammu chief, Zorawar Singh Jamwal also asked the gathering to encourage youth develop hobby of physical exercise. “Instead of putting unnecessary pressure on kid for securing marks, parents should rather encourage their children to go in the playing fields”, he said, adding, “addiction of games will help parents to keep away their children from the deadly menace of drug abuse”.

Cautioning people that making youth as drug addicts is bigger game-plan of the enemy, Zorawar Singh Jamwal reiterated demand of Team Jammu to intensify vigil on crossing points on the borders to keep a check on narco-terrorism, which is consuming lives of the youth of the State, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, region and religion”.

Dr Rameshwar Singh, Psychiatrist, District Hospital, Samba, said that steps are being taken to provide free counseling and detoxification to drug victims on weekly basis besides he also explained at length the ill effects of drug abuse.

Young girl students Aariya Amba, Angna Sambyal and Vishakha Sambyal who spoke on the drug menace were also honoured during the program. Anupam Sambyal formally welcomed the dignitaries and Ashwani Sambyal presented vote of thanks while Rahul Singh Sambyal compeered the program.

Among others who were present on the occasion included Inspector Sudhir Sadotra, SHO, Police Station, Samba, Vikesh Amba, Neelam Singh, Lucky Singh, Satish Datta, Varinder Sambyal and Sunil Raipuria.
