Today Kotli Colony Welfare Trust greeted SSP SB CID Jammu Sh Rohit Baskotra for his people friendly initiative to start telephonic service to change narrative of policing ethics among people to update them with CID verification report . Earlier people has to knock doors of CID office for the speedy verification of their passport but now once you have applied for the new passport CID team approach you at your door step for the verification process and even after they will call you for your feedback and suggestion to improve their existing system and ask you for your suggestion and any difficulty they may go through during this process. This is brilliant service to strengthen police public relation and develop a huge respect of police in peoples heart . This will also bring a transparency in the system and reduce unnecessary delay in executing verification service report and process. Mr Datta vividly said such a brilliant initiative is much needed where there is gap of trust between people and public. Such progressive steps ensure faith in the system and hails the role of new SSP CID Jammu Sh Rohit Baskotra. He extend his support to such noble officers who think of people problems and try to take these steps for the convenience of people at large.
