7 died in two different accidents in J&K J&




Five people died while 12 others were injured when the vehicle ferrying them skidded off the Bhaderwah-Pathankot road near Guldanda area and slid into a deep gorge in jammu and Kashmir's Doda district on Tuesday afternoon.

Those injured were immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital by local volunteers and police personnel, said Doda Police. All deceased were residents of Doda, Kathua, and Ramban districts.


“Five people were declared brought dead while 12 injured were hospitalised. Among those hurt, one person with serious injuries was being airlifted to Jammu while another was referred to Doda GMC,” said Doda SSP Abdul Qayoom, adding that a case had been registered in this connection and an investigation was underway.


“Spoke to DC Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, after receiving information… All further assistance, as required will be provided. I am in constant touch,” Union minister Dr Jitendra singh tweeted .

Meanwhile, in Ramban district, two persons died and another was injured after their car fell into a gorge in Rampaari area around 1.30pm Tuesday. Police said the Alto 800 was heading from Ramsoo to Banihal when the accident took place.

The injured person was shifted to Banihal sub-district hospital for treatment. Both the injured and deceased were from Sarbagni Ramban, police said.

Mother, son died due to elctocution of water motor in RS Pura: Mourning wave spread


In a village of R S  Pura sub-district, a mother-son died due to electrocution of a water motor.  After the accident, a wave of mourning ran in the entire village.  This incident happened on Monday morning in the border village Satraiyan Khurd.  It is being told that the mother and son were electrocuted while using the water motor and both died. The deceased have been identified as Deepak Singh son of Rajendra Singh and his mother Sandhya Devi wife of Rajendra Singh. It is being told that on Monday morning, the deceased Sandhya Devi started operating the hand pump installed in the courtyard of the house, then she fainted and fell down there. The relatives thought that she had suffered a heart attack and took her to the sub-district hospital.  Where the doctors declared him brought dead.  After this, the relatives of the woman reached home with her dead body.  Screams started in the house and the village. During this, Deepak Singh, the son of the deceased woman Sandhya Devi, who is working in the army and is on leave at home these days, also used the hand pump to wash his hands with the hand pump installed in the courtyard of his house.  Reached near. As soon as he touched the hand pump, he too fainted and fell there. People and relatives present on the spot saw that an electric water motor was also installed along with the hand pump, which short circuited due to rain at night.  Due to which both of them got electrocuted. Immediately after this, the relatives also took Deepak to the sub-district hospital.  Where the doctors declared him brought dead.  After this, the hospital management got the post-mortem done and handed over the dead body to the relatives.  There is a wave of mourning in the village after the death of both.  Sarpanch of the village Bina Devi said that the sudden death of these two has sent a wave of mourning in the entire village including the area.  He told that both the mother and son were of very good nature and the deceased Sandhya Devi was going to take bath on her way to the temple as usual when she died of electrocution.

 He said that the people here spend the whole year of what they earn during the yatra.  On the question asked about the assembly elections, he said that the assembly elections should go to hell.  On removal of Article 370, said that you are worried about the article and people are dying.  Farooq said that I am a member of the Parliament Committee.  We raised this question in the committee and requested that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are among those who eat rice.  It is expected that the committee will take a decision.

National Conference targets BJP, calls BJP's development claims after abrogation of Article 370 government propaganda




 JAMMU: Senior National Conference leader and former minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra has termed the BJP's claims of rapid development in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019 as government propaganda.


 Sadhotra said that Jammu and Kashmir has borne the brunt of BJP's authoritarian rule in the matter of abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A.  Which has not only deprived them of their constitutional rights on jobs and land, but has also brought down the kingdom of the greatest Maharaja.


 Despite their initial excitement over the political developments of August 2019, even some hardline BJP workers in Jammu did not dream of such a dream.  Sadhotra said in a statement here that the future is bleak, especially for the youth.  He alleged that people were virtually left to fend for themselves.  The development is limited to government propaganda as nothing is visible on the ground.

Lieutenant Governor said: This is the golden period for Jammu and Kashmir, every obstacle in the way of overall development will be removed




 This is the golden period for Jammu and Kashmir.  He said that the entire society should become one mind, one soul and work together to make their dreams come true in Amrit Kaal.  Every obstacle in the path of overall development of the state has to be removed.  We have to move forward unitedly.  It is necessary that social upliftment, human welfare, nation building should be the top most priority of every individual.  These things were said by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha during the radio program Awaaz Ki Awaaz.


 During this, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted the efforts of the state government to encourage citizens' participation in governance and work with commitment towards nation building.  During this, the Lt Governor shared inspirational success stories of women heroes, green warriors.  At the same time, he congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the successful organization of G20.  Appreciated the important contribution of Panchayats of Jammu and Kashmir in Mission Amrit Sarovar.

 The Lt Governor said that Awaam Ki Awaaz program is turning creative ideas of the people into reality.  If there is a change in our thinking and a deep sense of purpose for the prosperity of all and the preservation of cultural heritage, nothing can stop the progress of the modern society.


 He said that the elements holding J&K back, both in rural and urban areas, need to be isolated so that the creative forces of the society work together as a united group towards the common goal of making India the new economic powerhouse of the world.  

Kathua: Union Minister Hardeep Puri's visit to Kathua, Modi government's nine years told unmatched




 Describing the nine years of the Bharatiya Janata Party government as unmatched, a big rally was organized at Barnoti in Kathua today.  Along with Union Minister Hardeep Puri, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh was also a part of this rally.  Preparations have been made by the Bharatiya Janata Party at the district level for the event. Dispute between two youths in Gandoh over a minor matter led to a murder: The accused was caught within four hours


A painful accident took place in Gandoh of Doda district, where a violent clash broke out between two youths and one of them died.  Actually, there was a fight between two youths living in Gandoh.  A person named Bhairav ​​Singh attacked a person named Ram Krishna with an axe.  Due to which Ram Krishna died painfully on the spot. As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot, but by then the accused Bhairav ​​Singh had escaped from there.  The police found Ram Krishna's aunt Anju Devi at the scene.  She was also fatally attacked, leaving her seriously injured.  She was found by the police in an injured state.  After which the police admitted Anju Devi to the hospital.  At the same time, the police have sent the dead body of Ram Krishna for postmortem. The police immediately registered a case against the accused Bhairav ​​Singh who attacked and started searching for him.  At the same time, the police also got success after some time.  The police nabbed the accused from the forest along with the weapon.  According to the information, the police caught the accused within 4 hours of the incident and sent him behind bars. During investigation, it was found that the deceased had taken construction material from the accused, due to which there was a dispute between the two.  Soon, the dispute between the two escalated and the main accused Bhairav ​​Singh brutally killed Ram Krishna with an axe.  At the same time, the police also said that a case has been registered against the accused and further investigation is going on in this matter.

JK High Court: Instructions to the government in the murder of the undertrial prisoner, give 5 lakh compensation to the victim's family


 The Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court on Friday ordered the government to pay a compensation of Rs five lakh to the family of the deceased in connection with the death of an undertrial prisoner lodged in a central jail in 2013.  Mohd Ismail Shah, who was lodged in the jail, was killed by a fellow inmate by hitting him with a brick. Justice Sanjay Dhar's bench said that the respondents (state authorities) have themselves admitted that the jail building is very old.  The fellow prisoner attacked Mohammad Ismail by taking out a brick from the prison wall.  The death of the prisoner was due to the negligence of the authorities. Therefore, the defendants cannot absolve themselves of their responsibility for the custodial death of the deceased.  The court noted that the deceased, Mohammad Ismail Shah, was an undertrial prisoner in a murder case, but the authorities were not absolved of the obligation to ensure his safety in jail.


 A prisoner cannot be deprived of his constitutional rights as per law.  Shah's untimely death has deprived his wife, sons and daughters of their love and affection, hence they are entitled to compensation.

जम्मू-कश्मीर प्रशासन ने जम्मू संभाग के स्कूलों के लिए 45 दिनों की गर्मी की छुट्टी की घोषणा की




 स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग द्वारा जारी आदेश के अनुसार इन स्कूलों में आठ जून से 22 जुलाई तक ग्रीष्म अवकाश रहेगा।

 जम्मू और कश्मीर प्रशासन ने मंगलवार को जम्मू संभाग के ग्रीष्मकालीन क्षेत्र में आने वाले सरकारी और मान्यता प्राप्त निजी स्कूलों में उच्चतर माध्यमिक स्तर तक 8 जून से 45 दिनों के ग्रीष्मकालीन अवकाश की घोषणा की।

 स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग द्वारा जारी आदेश के अनुसार इन स्कूलों में आठ जून से 22 जुलाई तक ग्रीष्म अवकाश रहेगा।

 इसने आगे आदेश दिया कि सभी शिक्षक अवकाश अवधि के दौरान छात्रों के लिए किसी भी ऑनलाइन मार्गदर्शन के लिए उपलब्ध रहेंगे।

कटरा जा रही बस के जम्मू-श्रीनगर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर खाई में गिरने से 10 लोगों की मौत, 20 घायल


 मंगलवार को झज्जर कोटली के पास जम्मू-श्रीनगर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर एक बस के खाई में गिर जाने से 10 लोगों की मौत हो गई, जबकि 20 अन्य घायल हो गए।

हादसे के वक्त बस 75 यात्रियों को लेकर अमृतसर से कटरा जा रही थी।

 घायलों को इलाज के लिए जम्मू के एक अस्पताल में रेफर किया गया।

 Earthquake tremors have been felt at many places from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir.  Earth tremors have been felt by people in Delhi, Haryana including Jammu, Poonch, Rajori, Srinagar.According to the Bhookamp mobile app, the earthquake occurred at 11.19 am.  Its center has been described as Afghanistan, whose threat has been felt in the country of India as well.  The intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale has been 5.2.

Jammu: Viral infection increased due to change in weather, fluctuating mercury affects health


 Fluctuations in the weather are continuing in Jammu from the month of March this year.  In the midst of the scorching heat of the body in May, there is a feeling of relief from the torrential rains.  The minimum temperature in Jammu has dropped by 9 degrees from normal for the last two days.  This is affecting the health. People are suffering from viral infections like cough, cold and fever due to sudden rise and fall in temperature.  On the other hand, most of the crops have been harvested in the plains, but harvesting is still being done in some parts of the mountains, due to which hailstorm and rain are causing damage to the prepared crops. Sudden change in weather is affecting health.  According to Dr. Praveen Yograj, Medical Superintendent of Gandhinagar Hospital, due to change in weather in March this year itself, most of the people have got ready for such weather, but still viral infection is troubling people.  In this, people of all age groups have been affected.

Threats of China and Pakistan ineffective, 17 countries accepted Jammu and Kashmir as an integral part of India




 In the third meeting of the G-20 Tourism Working Group (TWG) in Jammu and Kashmir, India made China and Pakistan feel its diplomatic power.  Before the meeting, 60 delegates from 17 powerful countries of the world took part, unaffected by China's bullying and Pakistan's propaganda.  The participation of these countries, including the European Union, in the meeting means that Jammu and Kashmir is no longer a disputed issue for them. China had announced its boycott opposing the holding of G20 meetings here, calling Jammu and Kashmir a disputed area.  .  Describing Jammu and Kashmir as an integral part of the country, India had said that it has the right to hold the meeting anywhere in its territory.


 Turkey, which opposed the abrogation of Article 370, and Saudi Arabia, which kept silence on the issue, also distanced themselves from the meeting at the last moment.  However, both these countries did not comment in this matter.

सरकार कश्मीर में पर्यटन विकास के लिए व्यापक रणनीति तैयार कर रही है : रेड्डी




  केंद्रीय मंत्री जी किशन रेड्डी ने सोमवार को कहा कि पर्यटन उद्योग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए फिल्म पर्यटन एक शक्तिशाली माध्यम के रूप में उभरा है और सरकार जम्मू-कश्मीर में इसके विकास के लिए एक व्यापक रणनीति तैयार कर रही है।

 उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यटन हॉस्पिटैलिटी और गैस्ट्रोनॉमी में रोजगार के अवसर पैदा करने में मदद करता है।

 “हम पर्यटन विकास के लिए एक व्यापक रणनीति तैयार कर रहे हैं।  फिल्म पर्यटन पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने, एक गंतव्य को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक शक्तिशाली माध्यम के रूप में उभरा है, ”संस्कृति और पर्यटन मंत्री रेड्डी ने कहा।

 वह यहां एसकेआईसीसी में 'आर्थिक और सांस्कृतिक संरक्षण के लिए फिल्म पर्यटन' के साइड इवेंट में जी-20 देशों के प्रतिनिधियों को संबोधित कर रहे थे।  यह आयोजन यहां आयोजित हो रहे जी20 देशों के तीन दिवसीय तीसरे पर्यटन कार्य समूह की बैठक का एक हिस्सा है।

 मंत्री ने कहा कि श्रीनगर भारत के सबसे खूबसूरत शहरों में से एक है।

 "मैं मेजबान गंतव्य की सुंदरता और सांस्कृतिक विरासत को उजागर करना चाहता हूं।  श्रीनगर भारत के सबसे पुराने शहरों में से एक है।

 रेड्डी ने कहा कि भारत फिल्म निर्माताओं को फिल्मों की शूटिंग के लिए हर तरह की लोकेशन की पेशकश करता है।

 उन्होंने कहा, "धूप से प्रभावित समुद्र तटों से लेकर पहाड़ों तक।"

 रेड्डी ने कहा, "जैसा कि हम एक रोमांचक यात्रा पर जाते हैं, हमें याद रखना चाहिए कि यह न केवल गंतव्य की सुंदरता दिखाने के बारे में है बल्कि इसकी संस्कृति को संरक्षित करने के लिए भी है।"

Infiltrator killed on Poonch LoC, high alert on IB-LoC regarding G20 meeting




 Jawans have killed an infiltrator who had intruded into Indian territory from across the border at Poonch Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.  Many things have been recovered from him.  High alert has been declared along the International Border and Line of Control in view of the G20 meeting in Kashmir. On Saturday morning, there was some movement from the jawans at Mendhar LoC in Poonch.  After this he started the search operation.  Meanwhile, the jawans got the sound of some intruders coming in their area.  During retaliatory action one intruder was killed.
