20 litres(approx) of illicit desi liquor recovered from the possession of a person in the jurisdiction of PS Ghagwal

 Samba Police has arrested a person and recovered 20 litres(approx) of illicit desi liquor from his possession  in the jurisdiction of PS Ghagwal.

30 bottles of illicit liquor recovered by PS Bagh-e-Bahu , Jammu. One Bootlegger arrested.

Jammu: Acting tough on the menace of illicit liquor, police party of PS Bagh-e-Bahu led by SHO P/S Bagh-e-Bahu Inspr. kirti Sharma under supervision of SDPO east- Bikram Kumar while on naka duty at Kalka Colony rounded up a suspect who turned to be suspicious, later identified as Sanjeev Kumar S/o Devraj R/o upper Thathar Bantalab Jammu who was coming from Panama Chowk to Bagh-e-Bahu. In total 30 bottles of 750 ml each were recovered from his possession.

On this, case FIR no 46/2021 U/S 48-A  Exise act registered at P/S Bagh-e-Bahu and the accused got arrested.

Further investigation of the case is going on.

गैरकानूनी शराब के खिलाफ सांबा पुलिस की बड़ी सफलता, 60 बोतलों के साथ गिरफ्तार किए गए दो आरोपी

 सांबा पुलिस ने आज एक बड़ी सफलता हासिल करते हुए मंडी गुडगालियां में छापा मारकर बिना लेबल वाली गैर कानूनी शराब की 60 बोतलें बरामद की। पिछले काफी दिनों से सांबा पुलिस को यह इनपुट मिल रही थी की लाक डाउन के चलते जबकि पूरा सांबा बंद है तो जो गैरकानूनी शराब है उसका धंधा चल रहा है। और इसी इनपुट के आधार पर पर छापा मारकर 2 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया और उनके पास से 60 बोतलों के अलावा 7500 कैश भी बरामद किया गया।

Bishnah police arrested lady with 10 Ltrs of Illicit Liquor

As per police sources, on the basis of reliable information a team from police station Bishnah lead by SHO inspector Joginder Chib apprehended one lady namely Veena W/O Suram chand R/O Vill. Kotli Charkan Teh. Bishnah Distt. Jammu with 10 ltrs illicit liquor in her possession which she was selling to her customer at village Kotli Charkan. A crowd was gathered there which are not wearing masks and endangered the lives of common masses which also is a violation of DM's order given COVID -19. In this connection case FIR no. 82/2021 U/S  48 (a) Excise act r/w 188/ 269 IPC. The police arrested the lady under relevant sections.
