Samba: Continuing intensive drive against wrongdoers on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police have apprehended four (04) gamblers and recovered stake money amounting to rupees 4630.00/- alongwith a set of playing cards from their possession.
Acting on specific tip off regarding gambling, Police team of team of Police Station Vijaypur led by SHO Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria, under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka Kumari and Addl. SP Samba Surinder Choudhary raided the gambling spot at village Dhamore Jakh and apprehended 04 gamblers alongwith stake money amounting to rupees 4630.00 alongwith a set of playing cards.
The apprehended gamblers have been identified as Ranjeet Singh S/o Karan Singh R/o Dhamore Vijaypur , Yash pal S/o Nathu Ram R/o Dhamore Vijaypur , Vicky Verma S/o Bishan Dass R/o Dhamore Vijaypur , Shankar Shah S/o Devsaran Shah R/o Sita Mari A/p Dhamore Vijaypur. Legal action Under Section 13 of gambling act has been taken against the said gamblers.
