North India's first-ever Space Technology ISRO Centre inagurated at Central University Jammu by Dr Jitendra Singh, union minister PMO. It was named after Satish Dhawan, one of founding fathers of India's Space programme, about whom a lesser known fact is that he was a son of soil and an illustrious Dogra. In this context Dr Jitender Singh said, " He is experiencing special sense of pride and vindication in fulfilling the commitment to people of J&K to inaugurate this center."
