Jammu: Acting swiftly, on the information received through reliable sources at PS Domana regarding sale of banned polythene bags, dedicated police team of PS Domana led by SHO PS Domana Inspr Mahesh Sharma reached on the spot and detained one person namely Deepak Gupta S/O Ramesh Chander R/O Poonch lane near cricket academy. In total, 10 sacks of banned polythene bags weighing 144 Kgs were recovered from his possession.
After this, the Divisional officer Pollution Control committee Jammu North was informed. Later on the arrival of said team, the seized materials along with the said detained person was handed over to the team for further legal action.
