Two notorious bike lifters, arrested by Police station Bakshi Nagar Jammu: Three stolen bikes recovered

Jammu: On 26-07-2021, a written complaint was lodged at P/S Bakshi Nagar by Sachin Kumar S/O Krishan Lal R/O Venus Chowk, Udhampur A/P Opposite Central Cooperative Bank, Resham Ghar Colony, Jammu stating that his motorcycle (Glamour) bearing registration no. JKO2AG-0095, Chassis No. 07GAWC04271, Engine No 07GASM04801, has been stolen from Resham Ghar Colony.

On this case FIR No. 109/2021 U/S 379 IPC got registered P/S Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.

After this special police teams of PS Bakshi Nagar under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar were constituted. The team led by SHO P/S Bakshi Nagar  Inspr  Ravi Kant connected the various leads and with the help of CCTV footages and other technical aids finally rounded up two suspects namely 

1) Sahil Mehra @ felli s/o Kamal Kishore 

R/O Jewel

 2) Sumit Kumar S/O Lt. Dharam Pal R/O H.No. Pamposh Colony, Talab Tillo Camp, SOS Home, Jammu. During sustained questioning accused confessed their involvement in the above case and on the disclosure of accused namely Sumit Kumar following stolen items were recovered from them:

M/ Cycle Glamour  bearing Registration No. JKO2AG-0095

M/cycle Pulsar 220 cc bearing Chasis No. MDLA13EZOCCJ39424 

M/cycle Passion bearing Reg. No. JK02AT-6321

Further investigation of the case is going on.
