Jammu: Continuing it’s drive against bovine smuggling, Jammu Police during Naka checking at Manwal have rescued 14 bovine animals and seized a vehicle bearing Registration No JK03D 7796.
A naka was laid near Nadal Manwal by police teams of PP Manwal led by SHO PS Jhajjar Kotli Inspr Devinder Singh assisted by I/C PP Manwal PSI Ayub Khan whereby police teams rescued 14 bovine animals from a vehicle bearing Registration No. JK03D/7396 and seized the vehicle.
In this regard, Case FIR No 160/2021 u/s 188 IPC,11 PCA Act have been registered at P/S Jhajjar Kotli
The recovery has been made under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh. Further investigation of the case is going on.
District Police Jammu is striving hard and taking every possible step to curb the bovine smuggling menace. District Police Jammu is seeking support from the people to share information about bovine smuggling with police for timely intervention for the cause.
