Kathua: Shopkeepers protest against demolition of shopping mall, former minister also participated; traffic jam for two hours

Shopkeepers blocked traffic for two hours on the Kali Badi (kathua)National Highway in protest against the demolition of the shopping mall building.  During this protest against DC Rakesh Minhas, the atmosphere in the city has become tense regarding the administration's action. The administration has deployed security forces in view of the large number of demonstrations on the highway.  During this BJP unit along with former minister Rajeev Jasrotia also staged a sit-in on the highway.  After this, seeing the tense atmosphere, DC Rakesh Minhas, who reached the spot, held talks with the protesting shopkeepers on the matter, after which the traffic on the highway was restored.
