LG Manoj Sinha today visited Ranbir Canal and road widening sites on Jammu Akhnoor road. He gave directions for cleaning & desilting of Ranbir canal, its distributaries before Baisakhi so that farmers could be benefited with the timely availability of water. He too strong note of discharging of Municipal waste into the canal, directed executing agencies for laying down a comprehensive mechanism for the Solid Waste Management & effective implementation of the cleaning work of the canal. He also called for expediting road widening project and time-bound completion of flyover on Jammu Akhnoor road by using latest technological interventions in construction works.
