Adventurous Tourism/ Trekking
In the 6th of series of Neglected tourism u have read about the Mystical imprints of hoofs of Lord Rama's Ashwmedhya horse in the village Jattah & how to each there, about Dan Dabar famous picnic spot of Youth of Samba & now on the same route if ur fond of Trekking u can trek along with the meanders of River Basanter & take pleasure of natural beauty of the area & have adventure there.
Friends I will show u the two bridges that spans on River Basanter & joins the villages that r on the left side of the river (while ur moving Northeast) with the rest of the rest of the Samba city. U can go there either from Samba by adopting Sumb road or by Nud Gujwal road It depends upon u. On moving from village Chole da Chak after sometime u will watch first bridge which join Nund Bunb Jattah Villages. This us very old bridge but looks beautiful as this rest on cables.
The other bridge is far away from here & a newer one which is constructed after a long time on the repeated demands & requests of the people.
This bridge joins vilkages Hunded Jeed Dabruan Jano etc with the rest of the main Samba. This bridge presents a spectacular view point & nature is at its full bloom here. The interesting fact of both these bridges are that they stand on cables.
U can go there any time except rainy season & in my opinion the best time to go there is winters. There is no approach road to this place & the best way to go there is from village Dunai from where a rock cut road is going towards the top of the hill. After reaching on the top u have to descend, if ur on foot it takes 2hrs. U can also go on bike which can lead u to this bridge after sometime adventures. More adventurous people even take SUVs to the top of the hillock. Bolero is the right vehicle if u wanna have part with friends on top of the hill with ur own cooking. Very nice place for excursion in the shade of pine trees.
If proper road connectivity is established this place may be a boon for Samba people
