RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on Thursday announced that the real GDP forecast for Financial Year 24 has been increased to 6.5% from 6.4% earlier. Real GDP in Q1 is forecast to grow at 7.8%, Q2 at 6.2%, Q3 at 6.1% and Q4 at 5.9%. RBI has kept the repo rate unchanged at 6.50%. Further, inflation for FY24 is projected at 5.2%.
