A Canter and a Mahindra vehicle collided on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway at Lachhipur in district Kathua on Wednesday morning. About 16 people were injured in this accident. The injured have been admitted to GMC Hospital Kathua for treatment. The condition of three of them is said to be serious. According to the information, the laborers in Kathua were going to Jasrota on Wednesday from the Jammu-Pathankot highway in a Mahindra vehicle to do lenter work. A lenter pouring machine was also attached to the vehicle. As soon as the vehicle reached near Lachhipur, the canter truck went uncontrolled and hit the lenter machine. Both the vehicles fell victim to the accident.
