Jammu: Statehood to Ladakh, meeting of the High Power Committee on Sixth Schedule and right to employment, will be considered again

 The representatives of Ladakh are unhappy with the High Power Committee of the Central Government to resolve the issues of Ladakh.  In a

meeting with Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai in New Delhi on Monday, the delegation of Ladakh Apex Body and Kargil Democratic Alliance raised objections to this committee.  Representatives say that there is arbitrariness in constituting the High Power Committee on the issues of Ladakh.  The committee was formed a year ago.  On this, assurance has been given by the Union Minister of State that the decision regarding the formation of the High Power Committee will be considered afresh.
