The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Tuesday raided six different places in four districts of the Kashmir Valley. Action has been taken at these places in case of misuse of social media. On Tuesday morning, SIA teams along with the force carried out searches at six places in Srinagar, Anantnag, Pulwama and Kupwara. SIA spokesperson said that an FIR has been registered regarding misuse of social media platform for illegal and separatist activities. In this case, searches have been conducted as part of the investigation. It is being told that during the investigation, some mobile phones and SIM cards have been seized from the spot as digital and physical evidence. The official said that social media users and organizations in the country are spreading hatred and terrorist activities against India. A case has been registered by SIA Kashmir in connection with promoting and collaborating with its foreign partners.
The identified entities are suspected to be in collusion with foreign collaborators to further their nefarious agenda, which includes abetting and supporting terrorism. Additionally, these entities are targeting government employees, thereby hindering their ability to perform their legitimate duties.
