Postmortem was done on the dead body of the infiltrator who was killed on Thursday in the Mangu Chak area of the India-Pakistan international border in Samba district. According to the police, the body was kept in the mortuary for 72 hours. The team of doctors conducted his post-mortem on Saturday. After this he was buried.
Significantly, on Thursday morning in front of Mangu Chak's Jabbar post, BSF jawans saw some movement near the zero line. The jawans felt that someone had crossed the zero line and entered the Indian border. When he reached near the barricade, the jawans challenged him, but he was crawling and trying to come near the barricade.
On this the jawans started firing and killed him. BSF officials reached the spot in the morning to take stock of the situation and informed the Pakistani Razors after contacting them.
But, the Pakistani Razors refused to accept the dead body. According to defense sources, the vigil along the International Border has been tightened after foiling an infiltration bid.
