Jammu: Lord Venkateswara enshrined in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh will now give darshan to the devotees of Jammu from June 8. The construction work of the temple is in the final stage. The portals of this grand temple under construction at Majin village of Sidhda Jammu on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway will be opened for the devotees after duly offering prayers. Devotees coming from India and abroad for darshan of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi will be able to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara also known as Tirupati Balaji during their visit. Apart from the main temple of Venkateswara, the complex will also have temples of Sri Andal and Sri Padmavathi.
Rs 33.22 crore is being spent on this huge temple being built in two phases in 496 kanals of land by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Board. In the first phase, the temple of Lord Balaji, residences, toilets and parking lots are being built for the priests of the temples and the staff members of the board. Their work is almost in the final stage. By the end of this month, the construction work of the temple will be completed, while on June 8, the temple will be inaugurated with proper worship. According to the board, in the second phase Ved Pathshalas, spiritual centers will be made.
At present, the construction work of Tirupati Balaji temple is going on on a war footing in Majin village adjacent to the Jammu Highway. Let us tell you that the people of North India have a lot of faith in Tirupati Balaji Temple. In such a situation, he can easily come to Jammu for darshan. Devotees coming on the pilgrimage of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi will also visit Balaji temple first. Religious tourism will also be strengthened by this and the pace of development of Jammu and Kashmir will accelerate.
