Srinagar, May 20: Janata Dal-United President for Jammu and Kashmir GM Shaheen has welcomed the G20 event in Srinagar.
He said the event will give a boost to the tourism industry in Kashmir.
“Unfortunately, a number of foreign countries are stopping their citizens from Kashmir but I hope the foreign delegate who are visiting Kashmir will change the perception and request their governments to lift the adverse advisories,” he said.
He said Kashmir is on the track of development and with the G20 event, the face value of Srinagar has increased considerably.
