No ID proof, form needed to exchange 2,000 notes up to 20,000 at a time: SBI

The exchange of ₹2,000 denomination banknotes up to a limit of 20,000 at a time will be allowedvwithout any requisition slip or identity proof, the State Bank of India clarified. The ₹2,000 currency notes are being withdrawn from circulation. The RBI has asked public to deposit and/or exchange these notes at banks starting from May 23 until September 30.
