SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS 2 HEROIN PEDDLERS
*38 Narco-Suppliers Arrested in Samba in Four Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh*
Samba, May 16 : Under the guidance of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police has arrested two (02) heroin peddlers and recovered heroin ('chitta') worth rupees 26000.00 approximately from their possession. The vehicle used has also been seized by police.
The arrested heroin peddlers have been identified as Mohd. Asif s/o Abdul Qayoom Khan r/o Surankot Poonch and Ayaz Ahmed s/o Abdul Gafoor r/o Banihal Ramban. A case FIR No. 120/2023 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and further investigation is going on.
The heroin peddlers have been arrested by police team comprising of SHO PS Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma, PSI Nirmal Singh & PSI Mohd. Aslam under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additonal SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Total thirty eight (38 ) notorious narco-suppliers have been arrested by police in four months in district Samba after the launch of special drive against heroin smugglers, suppliers and peddlers on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh and several top narco-suppliers have been booked under relevant sections of law in different FIRs and raids are on to arrest them.
