Delhi High Court issues notice to JKLF leader Yasin Malik on National Investigation Agency's (NIA) appeal seeking death penalty for him in terror funding case

 

NIA's appeal before the Delhi High Court seeking death penalty for Yasin Malik (chief of the banned Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front).

NIA in appeal says - trial court not giving capital punishment to such a dreaded terrorist will result in the miscarriage of justice, as an act of terrorism is not a crime against society but it’s a crime against the entire nation. In other words, it's an act of “external aggression”, “an act of war” and an “affront to the sovereignty of the nation”
