Baba's devotees will not be bothered for buses, JKRTC is ready with a fleet of 300 buses

The Amarnath Yatra is starting from July 1.  For the first time the journey will be of 62 days.  In such a situation, a large number of passengers are expected to come from all over the country.  Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) will run AC and non AC buses to provide them smooth and safe transport facility

 JKRTC will make a pool of 300 to 350 buses this time due to the long journey of Amarnath Yatris.  In this, 250 to 300 buses will be operated.  The remaining buses will be used in case of sudden breakdown of any bus. JKRTC operates AC semi deluxe buses on Jammu to Baltal, Jammu to Pahalgam, Srinagar to Baltal, Airport to Pahalgam and Baltal routes.
