SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS 06 MORE THIEVES, SOLVES 04 MORE THEFT CASES, RECOVERS GOLDEN ORNAMENTS WORTH RUPEES 5.40 LACS ; TOTAL 45 THIEVES ARRESTED, 22 THEFT CASES SOLVED WITHIN ONE AND HALF MONTH: SSP SAMBA BENAM TOSH

SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS 06 MORE THIEVES,  SOLVES 04 MORE THEFT CASES, RECOVERS GOLDEN ORNAMENTS WORTH RUPEES 5.40 LACS ; 

TOTAL 45 THIEVES ARRESTED, 22 THEFT CASES SOLVED WITHIN ONE AND HALF MONTH: SSP SAMBA BENAM TOSH




Samba : Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police have arrested 06 more thieves, solved 04 more theft cases and recovered golden ornaments weighing 10 tolas (100 gm approx.) worth rupees 5.40 lacs and some other stolen items.

 The arrested thieves / dishonest receivers of stolen property have been identified as:  Mehboob Akhter s/o Shamesh Din r/o Dodla tehsil Basholi district Kathua, Money Lal s/o Sat Pal r/o Gurdaspur Punjab, Rahul Ambadass Raut alias Naina s/o Ambadass Raut r/o Maharashtra A/P Sunderbani district Rajouri, Vikas Kumar s/o Mohinder Kumar r/o Gurdaspur Punjab, Aman Sambyal s/o Kuldeep Singh r/o Dansala Mandi Samba and Mujeeb s/o Akbar Malik r/o Samargarden, Futa Fateullahpur road Meerut (U.P).


 Arrests were made from Meerut (U.P), Gurdaspur (Punjab) and different places of Samba & Kathua districts by the teams led by PSI Deepak Sharma, PSI Vikrant Kotwal, SHO police station Ramgarh Sudesh Kumar, SHO police station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria and SHO police station Samba Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka Kumari, Dy.SP Hqrs. Mohd. Usman and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary. 


Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total 45 thieves have been arrested by police in Samba district within one and half month and 22 theft cases worked out and stolen items including costly golden & silver ornaments have been recovered during intensive drive against thieves. Investigation in all theft cases are being conducted simultaneously in highly professional manner and more arrests & recoveries are expected.
