Strengthen PM’s hands for equitable development of every nook and corner of J&K: Sarabjit Singh kick starts development work at Karainwali

RAMGARH, NOV 15: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and District Development Council (DDC) Member Ramgarh, Sarabjit Singh Johal has asserted that only BJP can fulfill the aspirations of common people of this Union Territory especially in rural and far flung areas and urged the people to further strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for equitable development of every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.

He expressed this during a function in which he kick started development work of Chaupal at Panchayat Karainwali, Village Chak Salaria Block Ramgarh of district Samba here today.

While addressing a gathering at a Chaupal (Community sitting space in villages generally beneath a huge tree) Sarabjit Singh Johal said that development is going on at an unprecedented pace under present government at the Centre led by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Referring specifically to Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory he asserted that for the first time the rural areas of this Union Territory are receiving special attention because under the PM’s dynamic vision, there has to be overall equitable development which clearly implies that development in rural areas has to be equitably proportionate so that these areas are brought at par with the urban areas.

He stated that it is an open secret that rural and far flung areas remained totally neglected for about seven decades in the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir and it is only after Articles 370 and 35A that there has been a strategic shift in terms of development with rural and neglected areas being the focus areas of the BJP government. He said that only BJP can fulfill the aspirations of common people of this Union Territory especially in rural and far flung areas.

Johal appealed to the people to further strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for equitable development of every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir.
