SSP BENAM TOSH HIGHLIGHTED IMPORTANCE OF YOGA IN LIFE Kathua International Yoga Day-2022 was celebrated with enthusiasm at IRP 19th Battalion Headquarters Kathua where SSP Benam Tosh Commandant and SP Diwaker Singh Deputy Commandant among hundreds of officers and Jawans practised yoga.
Grand yoga function was organized at the open green lush lawns under the open sky on uncovered natural grass where the officers and Jawans underwent yoga exercises to unite body, mind, intellect, soul, supreme and nature and experienced boost in energy and positive thoughts.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Benam Tosh explained the importance of yoga in life to get rid of diseases, worries & tensions, stress, depression, fear and anxiety. He said that yoga has been one of the best practices observed in India since times immemorial and has now being adopted and recognized by the people of the entire world including those belonging to western countries. "Different aspects of yoga are in vogue that can be adopted by the people of different walks of life like students, young people, elderly people and patients to get peace of mind and success. Yoga is essential for police and other warriors to boost their morale, infuse energy, track down the criminals and win the battles", Benam Tosh further said. He advised the officers and Jawans to practice yoga on daily basis and to spread the theme of this year's international yoga day i.e. "Yoga For Humanity" among all the people coming across.
