Youth For Society members under its Chairman Rahul Sambyal met with SSP Samba Rajesh Sharma & discussed drugs related issues. In recent days there were deaths of young youth in Samba under the influence of drugs (Chitta/Heroine) that caused a shock wave in Samba. Youth for Society chairman Rahul Sambyal elaborated his viewpoint regarding the containment of drugs in Samba, emphasizing on the detainment of drug peddlars plus the channelising the energy of the youth towards games & sports. He also stressed on the awareness programmes about the deadly effects of the drugs. SSP Samba Rajesh Sharma said police is working very hard to curb this menace but without the cooperation of the general public, this can't be rooted out. He said public is like the ears & eyes of the police & minor lead may pay rich results. He also said parents have to watch their wards & if anything found suspicious have to inform the police. He also assured Mr Sambyal his full support in sports activites if any arranged by the YFS. It is pertinent to mention that last year police has very actively participated in the Mandi Thalora Football League in which Youth For Society & Team Jammu's Chairman Zorawar Singh Jamwal immensly contributed.
