Srinagar Encounter Update: 01 Pakistani terrorist & top commander LeT Abrar killed. Incriminating materials alongwith arms & ammunition recovered. Search going on. Further details shall follow. It is pertinent to mention that on the arrest of Nadeem Abrar and recovery of grenade and pistol from his car and revelation that some terrorists are hiding in his house, troops pardoned the area and gunfight started. Troops faced tough fighting from militants in Maloora Srinagar encounter. CRPF AC, SI, Ct injured but stable at 92-Base Hospital. Officials believe 3 holed up militants including one Saqib and Yusuf Kantroo of Chak Kawoosa, who has escaped from many gunfights in last 3 yrs.
