60 bottles of illicit liquor recovered by Police station Gangyal, Jammu: Bootleggers arrested

Jammu: In an act of alertness and prompt action dedicated police team of P/S Gangyal led by SHO P/S Gangyal Inspr. Raghubir Singh while on naka duty at Purmandal Morh rounded up two suspects namely Akhil Saini S/O Ravinder Kumar R/O Lahri Gurjrran,Punjab and Shamsher Singh S/O Darshan Singh R/O Mansurwal, Dona, Kapurthala, Punjab who were coming from Bari Brahmna side towards Jammu on two different vehicles bearing Registration Nos. PB08DS-8006 and PB09K-9615. During search, 60 bottles of illicit liquor viz 24 bottles and 36 bottles respectively were recovered from their possession. 

•On this, two cases FIR no.85/21 

u/s 48(a)/50/Excise Act & FIR No. 86/21 U/S 48(a)/50/Excise Act got registered at P/S Gangyal and the accused got arrested.

•Further investigation of the case is going on.
