19 Feb Bari Brahmana: Tightening the noose against encroachers, District Magistrate Samba, Rohit Khajuria today carried out an anti encroachment drive over a disputed land case and around 13 Kanals of land was retrieved at village birpur, bari Brahmana District samba.
Deputy commissioner samba along with Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur C P Kotwal and Assistant Commissioner Revenue Samba Jitender Mishra besides other members of anti encroachment drive team today reached the disputed land at birpur village and pressed a JCB machine to dismantle boundary walls, RCC structures, Tin Sheds, pavements and other temporary structures raised illegally over the site.
Giving details district administration samba informed that there was a dispute over a 13 Kanals 01 Marlas of private land at village birpur of block bari Brahmana and the matter was Sub-judice in the court, however a party member namely Ravinder Kumar Jain R/o Jain Bazar, Jammu was constructing multiple structures including boundary walls and other structure on the dispute land. The district administration under direct supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Samba today foiled all the attempts to change the status of the land and also dismantled all the structures. “ khasra No. 1779/579 measuring 3 Kanals 01 Marla and khasra No. 1786/579 measuring 10 Marlas of disputed land situated at birpur was removed from encroachment besides action as warranted also been initiated against the encroachers’ added DC Samba.
The Naib Tehsildar, SHO besides other field staff of revenue and police of concerned area were also present.
