Raid in the house of drug smugglers in Poonch-Rajori, 13 lakh rupees recovered… 15 hours of search operation


 Security forces on Sunday seized Rs 13,20,400 during a 15-hour search from the houses of four accused at Bagyaldara and Rajori in Poonch in a case related to narco-terrorism.  SOG, Rajori Police, CRPF and Army cordoned off Mohalla Alapir in Poonch at 6 am on Sunday. The houses of Mohammad Safir, an accused named in the Narco Terrorism case, and his three brothers were searched.  On not getting anything here, on the instructions of SSP Poonch Vinay Sharma, the police took the accused Mohammad Safir, who was lodged in the police station, to his house in Alapir.  From here recovered 7 lakh rupees buried under the floor. After this, 50 thousand from the house of Shakkar Din, three other accused who were arrested from village Bagyaldara along with Rajori police. 2,70,400 from the house of Najjar Hussain and 2,70,400 from the house of Irshad Hussain.  3 lakh recovered.  It may be noted that this action was taken after the interrogation of two drug peddlers from Punjab who were nabbed with 22 kg of heroin from Sunderbani in Rajori on June 1.
