Along with continuous development of basic facilities, this area is at the forefront of development of health services.Singh told about the development plans of road and highway infrastructure, saying that the construction of Katra to Delhi Expressway is going on fast. North India's first cable-stayed bridge (Atal Setu) has been built. Apart from this, an inter-modal station is to be constructed in Katra. Basohli-Doda National Highway through Chhattargala tunnel and more than 200 bridges have been constructed.
