Jammu-Kashmir: The game of drug smuggling, he himself was jailed, then he pushed his wife into drug smuggling, cases are continuously coming to the fore.

Drug smugglers are now getting their wives to smuggle drugs, so that no one can come to know.  Among them, there are many such drug smugglers, who are lodged in jails and are smuggling drugs through their wives.  Especially in Kashmir.  In the last one year, many such cases have come up, in which it has been clearly revealed how drugs are being smuggled by using women as shields. In September last year, the police had arrested a woman from Nowshera, whose husband was in jail in Punjab.  I am locked up on charges of drug trafficking.  In September 2022, Ravinder Kaur alias Neetu Babi was arrested by the police in Satwari, Jammu.  Her husband Vicky Langra is also a drug smuggler. In June 2022, the police in Kishtwar arrested Rameez Raja, a notorious drug peddler.  His two wives Mafuza Begum and Nobia Begum were arrested for drug smuggling.  In August 2022, police arrested drug smuggler Shah Faizal and his wife Nausheen Faizal on charges of drug smuggling in Budgam, Kashmir.

 In September 2022, the Udhampur police arrested a couple from Punjab.  7 kg of heroin was recovered from them.  Now the latest case is of Gandhinagar in Jammu.  Here a woman from Srinagar has been arrested with heroin.  Her husband is already involved in heroin smuggling.  Sources say that the drug smugglers lodged in the jails of Jammu and Kashmir are smuggling drugs through their wives and other family members.  The Anti-Narcotics Task Force has information about dozens of inmates whose families or spouses are involved in drug trafficking.  These are being closely monitored by the ANTF and the police of the concerned police stations.
