Jammu and Kashmir: Bus going from Samba to Srinagar overturned in canal, 20 people injured, sent to hospital


A bus full of migrant laborers working at a brick kiln overturned late on Monday night in Chhan Samotra village under Ghagwal police station in Samba district.  20 workers were injured in this accident.  Out of these, four pregnant women have been referred to Samba District Hospital.  The rest of the treatment is going on at Ghagwal Hospital. According to the information, the incident took place at around 10 pm.  About 75 laborers boarded a bus (JK02BB-8517) from Chann Samotra village and left for Srinagar.  The bus overturned in a contact canal shortly after starting.  The bus was full of labourers, so there was a hue and cry as soon as the bus fell into the canal.  There were also women and children in it.  Hearing the screams, the local people reached the spot and started the work of evacuating the injured.  Simultaneously, the injured were also being taken to the hospital.  When taken out, 20 workers were injured.


 He was admitted to trauma hospital in Ghagwal.  From here four pregnant women were referred to District Hospital Samba.
