Udhampur resident shot dead by terrorists in Anantnag, security forces cordoned off the entire area


 Enraged by the success of the G20, terrorists killed a civilian of Udhampur on Monday night in Anantnag district in a target killing.  He used to work in the circus fair of Amusement Park near Janglat Mandi in Anantnag.  After the incident, a search operation was conducted by surrounding the entire area so that the terrorists involved in the incident could be arrested. According to the police, the terrorists shot Deepu, a resident of Udhampur.  He was rushed to the hospital in an injured condition, but he succumbed to his injuries.  He used to work in a private sector circus fair.  This fair has been going on for the last one month.  It is said that the terrorists reached the amusement park at night and targeted and shot Deepu, who was sleeping in the tent. When other employees living there reached the spot after hearing the sound of firing, they found Deepu lying in a pool of blood.  He immediately informed the police about it.  The police reached and took the injured to the hospital.  After the incident, police, CRPF and SOG officials reached the spot and inquired about the incident.


 He told that he only heard the sound of firing.  It could not be ascertained that how many terrorists were there and had come on foot or by vehicle.  After the incident, a massive search operation has been conducted by surrounding the entire area.  ADGP Vijay Kumar says that the terrorists involved in the incident will be traced.  The entire area has been cordoned off.
