 SSP SAMBA HANDS OVER 85 DESKS TO GHSS KHARA MADANA

Samba, May 27 : Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh today handed over 85 desks valuing rupees 1,48,750.00 to Govt. Higher Secondary School Khara Madana for students under Civic Action Programme (CAP) in an impressive function which was attended by large number of students, teachers, lecturers, PRIs and prominent persons of the area.

SSP Samba was accompanied by Addl. SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and SHO PS Purmandal Vijay Verma while providing 85 standard quality big sized desks to the school management for the use of students in presence of DDC Purmandal Avtar Singh, Principal GHSS Khara Madana Dr. Anju Gupta, Sarpanch lower Khara Madana Anil Sharma, Sarpanch upper Khara Madana Anita Sharma, hundreds of students and other respectable persons of the area.

   The principal of Govt. Higher Secondary School Khara Madana Dr. Anju Gupta, DDC member, Sarpanchs, Panchs representing the public of the area and students of school thanked the police for providing desks to the school for the students. 

On the occasion, SSP Samba Benam Tosh said that police is friend of students indeed and like parents, guardians and teachers, Samba police is taking care of students’, providing required facilities, security, guidance, counselling, grooming and awareness against drug abuse. SSP further said that Samba Police under Civic Action Programme has established libraries, provided books, stationary items, uniform articles, bags to the deserving students, organized debates, symposiums and seminars at different schools & colleges, provided desks for students, organized series of sports events at different places in the district and student-oriented initiatives would be continued in days to come as well. Benam Tosh said that police is steadily heading towards complete eradication of drug menace from Samba district, continuously fighting against and would take sigh of relief only after deadly illegal heroin business is wiped out . He advised the students to keep contact numbers of police in their pockets and directly call police as and when required.
