Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha called for the active participation of members of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), common people and other stakeholders in the successful conduct of the upcoming G20 event. He said that this is a great opportunity to show the real potential of the Union Territory to the world. At the Kisan Sampark Abhiyan at Doru in the district, he said that the four-month long Kisan Sampark Abhiyan is a part of the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP) in Jammu and Kashmir. The focus is on orientation, skilling of farmers to ensure effective and efficient implementation of SOPs. The unprecedented progress and development in agriculture and allied sectors in the state is a testimony to our resolve that there should be prosperity in all farmer families and profitable farming for the younger generation. One should be motivated to do farming. All ambitious and innovative interventions, be it Mushkabudji or revival of Yellow Revolution, are bearing fruit because of the effective partnership between the farmers and the administration.
We believe that HADP will help farmers to scale new heights. I firmly believe that the path to all-round development passes through the villages. The HADP will fully harness the immense potential and growth potential in the agriculture sector to transform the destiny of rural J&K.
