Jammu and Kashmir: Age limit extended by three years for Combined Competitive Examination, order issued after LG's approval


 Giving relief to the youth of the state, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has increased the age limit for the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination (JKCCE) 2023 by 3 years.  According to the notification issued by the General Administration Department on Sunday, the maximum age limit for candidates of open merit has been increased from the present 32 years to 35 years. Similarly, the upper age limit for reserved category candidates and physically challenged candidates respectively  It was increased from 34 years to 37 years and from 35 years to 38 years.  An order in this regard was issued by Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary, General Administration. Under the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination Act 2018, the age limit rule was amended.  On May 10, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha approved the relaxation of upper age limit for JKCCE in view of the demands of several deputations including candidates.  After the order of the administration, the candidates of the state have got a lot of relief.
