Jammu: One-way traffic has resumed on Mughal Road on Saturday after a gap of four months. Mughal Road connecting Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu region with Shopian in south Kashmir remained closed for over four months due to heavy winter. This route was closed after heavy snowfall.
On Saturday, light motor vehicles were allowed to move from Behram Galla-Bafliaz in Poonch towards Shopian. The road was closed following heavy snowfall on January 5, especially in the high-altitude Pir Ki Gali and surrounding areas, a traffic department official said. Now this route has been opened on Saturday.
