The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday raided eight places, including the premises of a then aide of former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik. According to sources, raids have been done at eight different places in Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi. The action has been taken in a case related to an alleged insurance scam. CBI teams carried out a search operation this morning at the residence of the former governor's former aide and other places. Earlier on April 28, the agency had questioned Satya Pal Malik. This questioning took place at his residence. Earlier, in October last year too, the CBI had recorded his statement for the first time in this case after he retired from the post of Governor of Jammu-Kashmir, Goa, Bihar and Meghalaya.
