*SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS 2 PERSONS WITH HEROIN ;*
*POLICE IS COUNTERING DRUG MENACE EFFECTIVELY : SSP SAMBA BENAM TOSH*
Samba, April 2 : Police has arrested two (2) persons in the jurisdiction of police station Bari Brahmana and recovered heroin (‘chitta’) worth rupees 10000.00 (approx.) from their possession under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Benam Tosh.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mohd. Shakeel s/o Hakam Din r/o Tarkassi tehsil Koteranka district Rajouri and Naseem Ahmed s/o Nissar Hussain r/o Gujjar Mandi Rajouri. A case under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered at police station Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
The arrests have been made by SHO police station Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma and PSI Shakti Singh under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional Superintendent of Police Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that police is countering drug menace effectively in Samba district and the day is not far away when illicit narco-business would be completely wiped out from Samba soil.
