Samba , April 5 : Under the professional guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, police has apprehended three ( 3) thieves, solved two theft cases and recovered stolen items worth rupees 25,000.00 (approx.) in Samba district.
Out of the three apprehended thieves, two thieves have been identified as Tahir Khan s/o Abdul Jaleel r/o Rakh Barotian Samba, Aslam s/o Sadiq r/o Satah Samba. Two cases solved by police were registered at PS Vijaypur & at PS Samba through PP SIDCO and further investigation going on.
In theft case registered at PS Vijaypur, two thieves have been arrested by a team comprising of SHO police station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria & PSI Ankush Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka Kumari and in theft case registered at PS Samba through PP SIDCO, one thief has been apprehended by a team comprising of Incharge Police Post SIDCO Deepika Jalotra and SHO Samba Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba Mohd Usman. Investigations are being monitored by Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that 61 thieves have been arrested in samba district and 32 theft cases have been solved in two & half months after the launch of intensive drive against the thieves.
