Three panchayats of Jammu and Kashmir have been given national awards for best performance in various fields. In this, Sira-e Panchayat of Lati block of District Udhampur has been given the second prize on the subject of Child Friendship for best performance in LSDG under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Panchayat Sustainable Development Award. Similarly Falmarg of Kupwara and Fatehpora Panchayat of Baramulla have also got the award.
