In a major reshuffle in the Health Department of Jammu and Kashmir, 412 doctors have been transferred. The list of these transfers was released on Saturday, the last working day of April. This includes Medical Officer, Dental Surgeon etc. With this, efforts have been made to fill the vacant posts of doctors especially in remote areas. In an order issued by Bhupendra Kumar, Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, 119 doctors from Jammu division have been sent to other places.
